Equity and discrimination

The UK has largely expanded its anti-discrimination legislation in 2010.

Once an individual has shown that apparently discriminatory conduct has taken place, the employer must provide an adequate explanation for it. If it does not do so, the Employment Tribunal should seriously consider any claim for discrimination.
